We’re thrilled to announce that the Impact Maker is welcoming 32 new leaders to help lead our Impact Team work. Alumni of all VL programming have the chance to join Impact Teams, addressing the most pressing challenges in the state. Arizona has struggled to raise the reading proficiency level of students, which suffered as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The VL Early Literacy Impact Team is focused on increasing literacy rates through Arizona by attending school board meetings to raise awareness of needed progress.
