Child Well-Being Team Vision & Long-Term Goal:
All children across our state are supported, safe, and thriving. Our goal is to increase the health and well-being of Arizona’s kids. Each of our team’s work ladder up to this vision and long-term goal.

Just Ask Mia
Providing Arizona families with a 24/7, anonymous, and low-barrier digital tool to discover and connect with verified local resources for housing, food, clothing, and heat relief.
Our Family Support team partnered with Together for Arizona, 211/Solari, Family Involvement Center and other community partners to develop a Chatbot. Through a simple series of questions, the Chatbot understands what the family needs related to food, clothing, and cell phone requests and provides the best available resources. The Chatbot enhances their ability to safely care for children in a culturally relevant way.
Want to host Mia on your organization’s website? Fill out this form for more information and try out the Chatbot by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner of the screen!
Thank you to Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation for supporting the important work of the Just Ask Mia Chatbot!
Family Resource Centers
Strengthening families through community-based resource hubs that promote child well-being and household stability.
Our team is partnering with Prevent Child Abuse Arizona and First Things First to champion Family Resource Centers (FRCs), trusted community hubs where any caregiver can find the tools they need to thrive. From parenting workshops and early literacy programs to emergency supplies and local referrals, FRCs provide a localized “one-stop-shop” that strengthens families and prevents crisis before it starts.
Want to help strengthen families in your neighborhood? Learn more about FRCs and how to get involved here.
