Valley Leadership (VL) launched Impact Maker as a collaborative space to solve challenges together. As part of Impact Maker, our leaders roll up their sleeves and get to work right away – drawing on the values, skills and perspective gained from their VL experience.
Joined with strategic partners and community champions, they’re able to chart a path toward thoughtful, strategic solutions on the issues that matter most to Arizona.
What’s Happening at Impact Maker
Arizona has struggled to raise the reading proficiency level of students, which suffered as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The VL Early Literacy Impact Team is focused on increasing literacy rates through Arizona by attending school board meetings to raise awareness of needed progress.

Last week, we hosted our first ever Impact Maker Kickoff event! Valley Leadership’s Impact Maker team members and strategic partners gathered to connect and discuss new opportunities to expand our impact.
